Pitcher Awards Extends Deadline For 2024 Entries To April 15

The Pitcher Festival of Creativity has extended the deadline for 2024 entries to April 15, 2024. This is against the original deadline, March 31 announced earlier by the Organiser. The award ceremony is scheduled to be held from 16-18 May 2024.

The Organisers, revealed this earlier today, March 28, 2024, in a media release.

According to the release, the Organisers stated that the reason for the extension of the entries deadline was because of the Easter celebration.

The release reads, “As the Easter holiday approaches, we understand that your well-deserved moments of rest are precious. To ensure everyone has ample time to submit their remarkable work, we’re extending the deadline for the 2024 Pitcher Awards!”.

The Organiser highlighted six reasons why prospective awardees should take advantage of the extension.

The reasons include “Quality time, enjoy your Easter festivities without work looming over you. Submit early and savour the break! Team Spirit, rally your creative troops! Recognition fuels passion and camaraderie and Spotlight, your work deserves it. The Pitcher Awards showcase excellence, amplifying your brand’s reach.

“Bragging Rights, Imagine proudly saying, “We’re Pitcher Award winners!” It resonates with clients and partners. Business Boost, recognition attracts clients. It’s a win-win for creativity and commerce and May Buzz, our May announcement sets the stage. The buzz generated can propel your work to achieve more success.

Pitcher has also announced two new special awards in 2024 to recognize agency networks that are doing great work at various locations across the continent – the Africa Agency Network of the Year and the Africa Media Agency Network of the Year.

The Pitcher Awards, described as a Pan-African benchmark for creative excellence is now in its 7th edition and entries are open to campaigns, ideas and initiatives created, released or implemented anywhere on the African continent.
