NIMN To Hold 2025 Conference, AGM At Uyo, June 19-20

The National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) has announced that its highly anticipated 2025 Annual Marketing Conference (AMC) and Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held from June 19th to June 20th at Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital.
The Institute which made the announcement recently on its social media platforms, said that the the conference promises an impressive lineup of keynote speakers, panel sessions featuring industry experts, and distinguished speakers who will delve into the strategies and innovations driving Nigerian brands onto the global stage. More than just a meeting, this event is a marketplace of ideas, a forum for networking, and a hub for nurturing professional relationships that could shape the future of marketing in Nigeria.
This year’s AGM, which is the last in the tenure of the current executives led by Idorenyen (ID) Enang, will witness the election of a new set of executives that will navigate the institute’s next leadership tenure.
The 2025 conference and AGM event is poised to bring together the country’s foremost marketing professionals, entrepreneurs, government officials, and business thought leaders will mark a pivotal moment for the Nigerian marketing landscape.
Recall that ID Enang first assumed office as the 3rd president of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (MIMN) in 2021.
The National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) is the foremost professional body for individuals involved in marketing and related fields. The Institute’s main role is to regulate and standardize marketing practices through professional examinations, certifications, and training.
Membership in the Institute is compulsory for marketing practitioners, and practising marketing without registration is illegal. NIMN aims to ensure that its members adopt a professional marketing approach.
The Institute was established by Act of the National Assembly no. 25 0f 2003 with a chartered status conferred on it, the responsibility to regulate and standardize marketing professional practice through the conduct of comprehensive professional examinations and certifications, training, retraining and consultancy services geared towards ensuring that members adopt a professional approach to marketing and other related areas of marketing activities.
