The Public Relations Consultants Association of Nigeria (PRCAN) successfully hosted the maiden edition of its PRCAN Knowledge Hub on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the Lagos Marriott Hotel, Ikeja, drawing top government, regulatory, and corporate communicators to master AI-driven strategic communication. Themed “AI-Driven Strategic Communication: Mastering Algorithmic Disruption and Digital Volatility,” the hybrid event equipped attendees with tools to transform digital chaos into competitive edge.

PRCAN organized the summit as a high-level programme focused on the future of public relations in an AI-dominated landscape. “The upcoming PRCAN Knowledge Hub centered on AI-Driven Strategic Communication: How Mastering Algorithmic Disruption and Digital Volatility empowers government, regulatory and corporate communicators will turn digital chaos into strategic advantage,” the association stated in its official release.

Key sessions featured TechCabal CEO Tomiwa Aladekomo, whose presentation delved into AI-driven storytelling, media intelligence, and leveraging data, audience analytics, and platform algorithms for high-impact narratives. Aladekomo, acclaimed for shaping Africa’s tech discourse, highlighted how communicators can harness these tools in a crowded information ecosystem.

PRCAN President Nkechi Ali-Balogun emphasized the imperative for practitioners to adapt. Technology redefines stakeholder engagement, she noted, urging professionals to acquire competencies matching digital transformation’s speed and complexity. The Knowledge Hub positions PRCAN as a vanguard, fostering responsible AI adoption for predictive issue tracking, ESG-aligned storytelling, and reputation growth.
