MultiChoice has officially released a teaser on the return of its yearly reality TV show, Big Brother Naija for the 11th season, with the auditions expected to take place soon.
The organisers made the announcement recently on their official X account that. The post reads “Biggie is calling. Are you ready to answer?.” The post came alongside a video announcement confirming that the audition process would kick off shortly.
“It’s back. Auditions coming soon!” the post declared, and just like that, the BBNaija fandom was alive again.
The announcement lands several months after Season 10 wrapped up, a season that had brought 29 housemates into the famous house on July 26, 2025, all chasing a grand prize of ₦150 million. That edition shook things up in more ways than one. The Head of House challenge got a serious makeover, it was moved to Sunday nights, with winners holding their power only until a follow-up challenger game on Monday. Housemates who finished last in the HOH challenge found themselves automatically up for nomination, adding a sharp edge of pressure that fans loved.
Season 10 also introduced a bag of tricks — quite literally. The “Bag of Big Twists,” handed to the Head of House to deploy at will, kept housemates and viewers constantly on their toes. Then there was the “red telephone,” ringing at unpredictable moments with direct instructions from Biggie himself. A new “Influential Player of the Week” title also entered the game, adding another layer of strategy to the competition.
When the dust finally settled, it was Imisi Ayanwale who walked away with the crown, claiming victory with a commanding 42.8 percent of the total votes. She joined the exclusive list of BBNaija champions that includes household names like Mercy Eke, Laycon, Whitemoney, Kellyrae, Phyna, and Ilebaye.
