NIPR, NEPC Partner To Take Made-In-Nigeria Products To Global Markets

The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) have entered into a partnership to promote Made-in-Nigeria products and services locally and internationally, as part of efforts to boost economic growth.
The partnership was announced by the President of NIPR, Dr. Ike Neliaku, during a visit by the institute’s delegation to the NEPC headquarters in Abuja.
Neliaku said the collaboration was important because both organisations play key roles in shaping Nigeria’s image, reputation, and economic prospects globally. He noted that the country has abundant resources and the capacity to compete internationally, adding that Nigerian products are capable of matching global standards.
As part of activities planned for the upcoming World Public Relations Forum (WPRF), the NIPR president urged NEPC to establish a Made in Nigeria exhibition pavilion at the event. He said the platform would allow global participants to experience Nigeria’s creativity, innovation, and production strength across different sectors.
He added that NEPC’s improvements in product packaging and presentation could be showcased at the forum to demonstrate Nigeria’s ability to produce goods that meet international expectations.
Neliaku also commended the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of NEPC, Nonye Ayeni, for her efforts toward improving the quality, finishing, and packaging of locally manufactured products.
Responding, Ayeni expressed the council’s readiness to collaborate with NIPR, which is hosting the World Public Relations Forum, to create opportunities for Made in Nigeria products to gain greater visibility in local and international markets.
She said the partnership would support NEPC’s efforts toward economic diversification while leveraging NIPR’s role as a key institution responsible for managing Nigeria’s reputation.
Ayeni added that the collaboration would help highlight Nigeria’s production capacity, improve the competitiveness of local businesses, and contribute to the expansion of non oil exports.
