The Advertisers Association of Nigeria (ADVAN) has elected a new Executive Committee to steer the affairs of the association, bringing together senior marketing and communications professionals from some of Nigeria’s leading brands and organisations.
The newly elected team is led by O’tega Ogra, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Digital and New Media, who emerges as President, while Ediri Ose-Ediale continues in her role as Chief Executive Officer.
Below is the composition of the new executive committee:
O’tega Ogra – President
O’tega Ogra is the Senior Special Assistant to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Digital and New Media. A communications strategist and media professional, he now assumes leadership of ADVAN, where he is expected to drive the association’s strategic direction and strengthen the voice of advertisers in Nigeria.
Gloria Nwabuike – First Vice President
Gloria Nwabuike is the Managing Director of AACE Foods Limited. With extensive experience in business leadership and brand development within the FMCG sector, she will serve as First Vice President.
Maurice Igugu – Second Vice President
Maurice Igugu is the Chief Marketing Officer of The Alternative Bank. He brings significant expertise in brand strategy, customer engagement and financial services marketing to the Executive Committee.
Seni Ogunkola – Treasurer
Seni Ogunkola serves as Vice President, Brands and Marketers at T2 Mobile. He will oversee the association’s financial responsibilities as Treasurer.
Adeola Amosun – Publicity Secretary
Adeola Amosun is the Group Head, Media at Tolaram. As Publicity Secretary, she will lead the association’s communications and media engagement efforts.
Cassandra Uzo-Ogbugh – Executive Council Member
Cassandra Uzo-Ogbugh is Head of External Communications, Media and Partnerships at Reckitt Nigeria. She joins the Executive Council with extensive experience in corporate communications and stakeholder engagement.
James Odejimi – Executive Council Member
James Odejimi is Head of Marketing for the HPZ Strategic Business Unit at PZ Cussons. His experience spans brand management, marketing strategy and consumer engagement.
Martha Ojei Kayode – Executive Council Member
Martha Ojei Kayode heads Marketing at PZ Cussons. She brings years of experience in brand building and consumer marketing across the FMCG industry.
Omobolanle Osotule – Executive Council Member
Omobolanle Osotule is Head of Brand Marketing and Communication at Airtel Networks. She joins the Executive Council with expertise in telecommunications marketing and integrated brand communications.
Oge Maduakwu – Executive Council Member
Oge Maduakwu is Head of Marketing and Communication at Samsung Electronics West Africa. She contributes extensive experience in technology marketing, corporate communications and brand leadership.
Ediri Ose-Ediale remains Chief Executive Officer
Ediri Ose-Ediale continues as Chief Executive Officer of ADVAN, maintaining responsibility for the association’s day-to-day operations and the execution of its strategic initiatives.
The newly elected Executive Committee is expected to provide strategic leadership for ADVAN while advancing the interests of Nigeria’s advertising and marketing community through collaboration, innovation and industry advocacy.
