Aramide Nwokediuko Joins CHI Limited In Expanded Corporate Affairs Role

Aramide Nwokediuko has been appointed Director, Corporate Communications and External Public Affairs & General Counsel at CHI Limited after stepping down as Company Secretary, General Counsel and Head of Corporate Services at Chemical and Allied Products (CAP) Plc.

Her resignation took effect after CAP’s 61st Annual General Meeting on June 24, 2026, marking a strategic leadership transition within the UAC of Nigeria Plc Group as she moves to another subsidiary with broader responsibilities.

At CHI Limited, Nwokediuko will oversee corporate communications, external public affairs, legal services and corporate governance, reflecting the growing integration of communications, stakeholder engagement and legal oversight in modern business.

She brings more than 14 years of experience in corporate law, governance and compliance across the manufacturing, automotive, FMCG, healthcare and technology sectors. Throughout her career, she has advised organisations in both the public and private sectors on several high-profile corporate transactions and governance matters in Nigeria.

Before joining CAP Plc, she served as Group Company Secretary, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at CFAO Nigeria, where she oversaw legal, governance and compliance functions across the Group’s diverse businesses, including automotive, healthcare and distribution operations. Prior to that, she spent nearly 12 years at leading commercial law firm Banwo & Ighodalo, advising clients on corporate and commercial transactions.

In addition to her legal expertise, Nwokediuko has built a reputation for leading cross-functional teams, navigating complex regulatory environments and driving organisational performance through strong governance and compliance frameworks. She is also recognised for building high-performing teams that support business growth and operational excellence.

Nwokediuko studied Law at the University of Lagos, attended the Nigerian Law School and has completed executive education programmes at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, among other institutions.

Her appointment underscores UAC Group’s continued focus on deploying experienced leaders across its portfolio while strengthening corporate governance, reputation management, stakeholder engagement and business sustainability across its operating companies.
