World Creative Rankings: Most Awarded UK, US and APAC Agencies Revealed
The most awarded agencies in the UK, US and APAC regions have today been revealed in the latest instalment of the World Creative Rankings.
Published by The Drum, this annual study aggregates and analyzes the results of all of the advertising industry’s major international award schemes to determine which companies, clients and creatives produced the most celebrated work of the previous calendar year.
We began this year’s creative countdown by revealing that Dentsu Tokyo had been crowned the most awarded agency worldwide for 2020 and Omnicom, and its network BBDO Worldwide, had been named most awarded holding company and most awarded network respectively.
US
• For the second-year running, McCann New York takes the top spot among US agencies. Prized campaigns including its accessibility work for Microsoft helped propel it to the top spot.
• David Miami, BBDO New York, TBWA\Media Arts Lab LA and FCB Chicago complete the top five.

UK and Ireland
• After a second placed finish last year, AMV BBDO is this year crowned the most awarded in the UK and Ireland.
• The London agency beat out its capital counterparts Karmarama, Adam&Eve DDB and McCann London to take the top spot.
• Reflecting the changing make-up of creative awards, design and branding heavyweights Superunion and Williams Murray Hamm take their place among the advertising giants in this year’s top 10.

Asia-Pacific
• With its first place in the worldwide top 100 agencies already secured, Dentsu Tokyo is of course the number one agency in Asia Pacific.
• Cheil Hong Kong, TBWA\Hakuhodo,Innocean Worldwide Seoul and Clemenger BBDO Wellington complete the top five.
• Also in the top 10, DDB Sydney and FCB Mumbai were the strongest performing agencies in Australia and India respectively.
