Stan Nze, Osas Ighodaro, Oga Sabinus, Others Shine At AMVCA 2022

The grand finale of the eighth edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards, AMVCA, was held over the weekend at the prestigious Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.
The eight-day festival kicked off on Sunday, May 8, with a series of events consisting of a fashion runway show, content creators brunch, young filmmakers day, culture and food festival day.
The grand finale was hosted by IK Osakioduwa and SouthAfrica’ Bonang Matheba.
The biggest winners of the night were Stan Nze and Osas Ighodaro as they emerged as Best Actor and Actress in a Drama respectively.
Chukwuemeka Emmanuel Ejekwu better known as Oga Sabinus won the AMVCA’s Online social content creators’ award, a newly created category by the organisers of the show.
Nigerian actress and producer, Teniola Aladese won the Trailblazer award with a cash price of N1m and also an extra gift of $2,000 dollars from the Hollywood star, Tasha Smith who presented her with the award.
