Olumide Olaokun Joins FrieslandCampina WAMCO As Brand Manager- Peak

Brand management professional, Olumide Olaokun has joined FrieslandCampina WAMCO as the brand manager for Peak.
Before joining FrieslandCampina WAMCO, Olumide was the Acting Consumer and Market Insights Manager at consumer packaged goods company, Promasidor Nigeria, where he managed all aspects of research, including partnering with key stakeholders to frame pain points, designing research methodologies, implementing high-quality data collection, and analyse results.
Olumide is an experienced brand marketing executive who has demonstrated a history of working in the consumer goods industry.
He is skilled in marketing strategy, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), integrated marketing, project management, and competitive analysis.
Taking to his LinkedIn page to announce the new role, Olumide wrote, “In the spirit of the ongoing football transfer season, I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Brand Manager – Peak at FrieslandCampina WAMCO.
“I am grateful for the almost 5 years spent with the amazing marketing team at Promasidor Nigeria Limited managing different brands and I appreciate everyone who contributed one way or the other to my success.

Olumide holds a Bachelor of Technology, B.Tech.), Microbiology, from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso.
He proceeded to the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, for a Master of Science in Food and Industrial Microbiology.
Olumide further sharpened his skills in marketing by bagging a Master of Administration, MBA, Marketing, from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology.
He is a fellow of the National Institute of Marketing Nigeria (NIMN) and an Associate member of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON).
