Coronation Appoints Ngozi Akinyele As Executive/Deputy Chief Marketing Officer

Experienced management consultant and brand manager, Ngozi Akinyele has been appointed as the Executive/Deputy Chief Marketing Officer of Coronation.
Coronation is a leading African financial services institution that helps brands build financial independence and enduring legacies that lead to sustainable wealth creation in Africa.
At Coronation, she will oversee Brand, Marketing, Communications, Sustainability and Corporate Citizenship, across all Coronation entities in Africa. These entities offer Banking, Insurance, Wealth & Asset Management, Securities & Brokerage Services, Trustee & Registrar Services and Venture Building Services.
Taking to her LinkedIn page to make the announcement, she wrote, “I am delighted to share my next career journey as Executive/Deputy Chief Marketing Officer at Coronation, where I will oversee Brand, Marketing, Communications, Sustainability and Corporate Citizenship, across all Coronation entities in Africa.

Prior to joining Coronation, she was the Head Strategic Brand Management, Corporate Communications & Marketing at Union Bank of Nigeria. She drove the brand, marketing, communications, public relations, brand partnerships and experiences at the 105+ year old Bank for over nine year. In five years, she led the team that supported three CEO transitions, built three digital sub-brands, developed a first-of-its-kind sound identity, created several successful brand platforms, delivered award-winning campaigns, yielding measurable brand and business results.
Ngozi bagged her first degree in Economics from the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos. She also did an Advanced Marketing Management Program at the Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management.
