Creative expert, Eki Ogunbor, has been appointed as the new Group Executive Director of Brands and Communications at Nosak Group, a Nigerian business group with multi-pronged interests in the economy.
The company made the announcement on its LinkedIn page, which reads, “We are thrilled to welcome Eki Ogunbor onboard as the new Group Executive Director of Brands & Communications at Nosak Group! Together, let’s redefine excellence and chart new horizons.”
In her new role, Eki will be in charge of directing all branding and communications projects and executions of the company across West Africa.
Eki Ogunbor is the founder of KISARA, a Nigerian fashion brand that specializes in handcrafted leather pieces with a stylish twist.
KISARA is one of her ventures and contributions to the growing African fashion industry. The brand became popular after its runway debut at Lagos Fashion Week in 2018 and its nature-inspired designs use wicker as a key material to add a stylish edge to its designs.
Eki Ogunbor is also a Blogger, fashion writer and fashion designer with experience as a Lifestyle Editor at the media tech platform, BellaNaija, where she launched the BellaNaija Style platform in 2017.
With past experiences working in the fashion industry and finance, the business of fashion and design are key interests for the award-winning creative.
Formerly known as ‘The Chameleon Blogger’, Eki Ogunbor has an eye for great styling, fashion photography and visual merchandising.
She has also served at Xclamations as the Head of Design.
Eki Ogunbor holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance From the University of Kent and a Project Management Masterclass from Jeman Consulting.
