Staying true to its enduring tradition, Pepsi, one of Nigeria’s most loved cola brands, turned the Big Brother Naija mansion into different shades of buzz and explosive vibes in its Gbedu Runway task.
Over the years, the cola brand from the stable of Seven-Up Bottling Company (SBC) always left no stone unturned in maximizing every available opportunity to engage both the housemates and viewers in its well-crafted entertainment-filled task, this year, this year, the brand took it higher.
The brand also ignited the Saturday night party with its signature Pepsi Gbedu on the Runway after-party.
This year, the brand challenged the housemates to an intense task which required them to explore their creativity through fashion parades and musical performances.
The housemates were paired up into eight teams. Each pair came up with a creative name from the first names, of the two team members- team Ovee- Victoria and Ocee, team Waka (Wanni and Kassia, team Tonita (Topher and Anita), team Nellykelz ( Nelly and Kellyrae), team Soodi (Sooj and Handi), team Chizee (Chizoba and Ozee), team Teekay (Tjay and Onyeka) and team Shen (Shawn and Ben).
The stage was now set for the no-loose-guard housemates to work their magic as they performed songs, and danced to some popular Nigerian artistes such as Davido, Kizz Daniel and Fireboy.
The housemates were equal to the task as their runway walk and musical performance got others buzzing, bringing out the vibes and chemistry. While some displayed explosive musical performance, others showed up and showed out with a bang,, taking ownership of the runway.
At the end of the energetic performances, team NellyKelz comprising Nelly and Kellyrae won the Pepsi brand task.
