Remilekun Dosumu Climbs Higher At PHD Nigeria As Head, Media Buying & Control

Marketing Communications professional, Remilekun Dosumu, has been elevated to the role of Head, Media Buying and Control at PHD Nigeria, a leading media agency in Nigeria. Her promotion is effective immediately.
In her new role, Remilekun will oversee the entire buying function within PHD as well as lead the compliance team. She will be reporting directly and working together with the MD of PHD Nigeria, Dozie Okafor to optimize and restructure the buying and compliance teams to ensure the company is positioned for stability and sustainable growth.
As a Senior Manager at PHD, she has leveraged her 13+ years of experience and expertise in media investment and compliance to optimize media buys, manage budgets, and ensure flawless campaign execution for renowned clients across various sectors. She has a proven track record of delivering outstanding results, achieving an impressive 99% compliance level and securing multiple media sponsorships and partnerships.
Her passion is to create and communicate brands that surpass the competition and connect with target audiences through strategic planning, data analysis, content marketing, and media research. She has successfully led and mentored commercial teams, built units and departments from scratch, and contributed to the growth and development of PHD’s portfolio.
Prior to her promotion, Remilekun was the Senior Manager of Media Investment and Compliance in the same company, where she was in charge of strategic media negotiations, budget optimization, and flawless campaign execution for renowned companies such as Unilever, SC Johnson, MTN, Tecno, PZ, BetKing, Pernod Richard, Jumia, Kimberly Clark, Flour Mills Nigeria(FMN), and Pladis.
Remilekun joined PHD as a Senior Media Executive and steadily climbed the company’s corporate ladder serving in several capacities such as Assistant Manager, Manager, Media Investment & Compliance and Senior Manager of Media Investment and Compliance.
She started her career at All Seasons Zenith as a Media Executive before moving to Frontiers Marketing International Services Limited as an Account Executive. She also served at QVT Media as a Senior Media Executive before moving to PHD Nigeria.
