Landgate Appoints Okikiola Agbeleye As Head Of Sales & Marketing To Strengthen Commercial Growth

Landgate Investments Ltd has appointed Okikiola (Kiki) Agbeleye as Head of Sales and Marketing, with a mandate to strengthen the company’s commercial capabilities and build the structures required to support its long-term growth in Nigeria’s real estate sector.
Kiki brings experience spanning marketing communications, brand strategy, marketing leadership and commercial growth. Her career progression has shaped an approach to leadership that connects brand positioning, demand generation, sales execution and customer engagement to broader business objectives.
“My professional journey has evolved from marketing communications and brand strategy into strategic marketing leadership and commercial growth. That progression has given me a broader understanding of how the different parts of a business must work together to deliver results,” she said.
In her new role, Kiki will focus on building a more structured and integrated commercial function, with particular emphasis on team development, operational processes, accountability and the alignment of sales and marketing activities.
“My priority is to build a commercial function that is equipped to deliver consistently, rather than one that depends heavily on individual effort. That means having the right people, clearly defined responsibilities, effective systems and processes that connect our marketing activities to sales outcomes,” she explained.
She noted that the relationship between marketing and sales is central to achieving sustainable growth, particularly in a competitive real estate market where customer engagement, lead management and conversion must work together effectively.
For Kiki, the task goes beyond managing the two functions independently. It involves establishing a framework through which marketing generates and nurtures demand, sales converts opportunities, and customer engagement supports the overall business objective.
“Growth requires more than a good product or a successful campaign. It requires an organisation with the internal capabilities to execute its strategy, measure performance and improve continuously. As Landgate grows, we must ensure that our people, systems and processes evolve to support that growth,” she said.
Her leadership approach is informed by experience managing teams, setting strategic priorities and translating business objectives into execution. She sees clear accountability, effective resource allocation and cross-functional alignment as essential to building a commercial operation that can deliver results consistently.
The appointment reflects Landgate’s focus on strengthening its commercial organisation and creating a more coordinated approach to market positioning, customer acquisition and sales performance. Through this mandate, Kiki will work towards building a function capable of supporting the company’s current priorities while providing a foundation for future expansion.
