One of Nigeria’s leading creative agencies, X3M Ideas, has made the country proud at the first night of the ongoing Loeries Awards 2025. The agency won Craft Gold in the Print Crafts Photography Campaign category for its emotional and thought-provoking work, Blood Sacrifice, created for the Red Cross.

The first night of The Loerie Awards took place last Thursday at the iconic Cape Town City Hall in South Africa.

The campaign stood out among top entries from across Africa and the Middle East for its powerful storytelling and visual depth. Blood Sacrifice uses strong imagery to highlight the value of blood donation and the humanity behind every act of giving. Its haunting tone and simplicity earned it recognition as one of the night’s most compelling works.

Commenting on the win, Steve Babaeko, Chief Creative Officer of X3M Ideas, described the recognition as a proud moment for Nigeria’s creative industry. He said, “We’ve always believed that powerful stories can come from anywhere. This award proves that creativity from Lagos can speak to the world with heart, purpose, and truth.”

The win adds to X3M Ideas’ growing list of international achievements, reinforcing its reputation as one of Africa’s most consistent creative powerhouses. Competing alongside agencies such as Publicis, TBWA, and Impact BBDO, the Lagos-based team once again proved that Nigerian ideas can hold their own on the global stage.

The Loeries, which celebrates excellence in brand communication across Africa and the Middle East, brought together hundreds of entries this year. X3M’s victory with Blood Sacrifice underscores the strength of purpose-driven creativity and Nigeria’s rising influence in global advertising conversations.
