X3M Ideas Ranks First In Nigeria, 7th In Africa In Latest Loeries Rankings

Barely months after industry peers and stakeholders at the 2025 Lagos Advertising & Ideas Festival (LAIF) Awards crowned X3M Ideas as Nigeria’s most creative advertising agency, the Loeries, one of Africa’s foremost platforms in recognizing creative advertising works, has reaffirmed the agency’s position in Nigeria as numero uno in its 2025 Official Rankings of agencies and professionals.
The continental creative powerhouse with headquarters in Lagos has emerged as the number one advertising agency in Nigeria, ranking 7th on the Independent Agency Rankings across Africa and the Middle East, according to the prestigious Loeries Official Rankings released in January 2025.
The Loeries official rankings serve as a valuable and independent measure of the most innovative brands and agencies across Africa and the Middle East in the brand communications space. The rankings are calculated based on cumulative scores of awarded entries and finalists from the annual Loerie Awards, providing an objective assessment of creative performance across the region.
X3M Ideas has maintained an extraordinary trajectory since its establishment in 2012. The agency made history by becoming the first Nigerian and West African agency to win a Cannes Lions award in 2023 with its “Soot City Life Expectancy” campaign, breaking a 70-year record for the region.
The agency’s consistent performance extends beyond continental recognition. In May 2025, X3M Ideas secured a coveted spot on the Financial Times of London’s list of Africa’s Fastest-Growing Companies, ranking 31st among 130 companies across the continent with a remarkable 563.9% growth rate and 87.9% annual compound growth.
This achievement marked a significant milestone for Nigeria’s marketing and advertising industry, a sector often overshadowed by fintech, energy, and e-commerce in such prestigious rankings.
