MIPAN AGM Holds August 14th, Participants Set To X-ray Opportunities For Media Growth

The Media Independent Practitioners Association of Nigeria (MIPAN) is set to hold its 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Friday, August 14, 2026, with industry leaders expected to deliberate on the future of media investment, innovation and sustainable growth.
Scheduled to hold at Ogere Resort, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State, the meeting will revolve around the theme, “Monetizing Tomorrow: Outpacing Disruption, Capturing Growth in the Next Era of Media.”
The theme reflects the growing need for media agencies, advertisers, publishers and technology partners to rethink traditional business models as artificial intelligence, data-driven marketing, changing consumer behaviour and emerging digital platforms continue to reshape the communications landscape.
The AGM is expected to provide members with an opportunity to review the association’s activities, discuss key industry challenges and explore strategies for unlocking new revenue opportunities in an increasingly fragmented media ecosystem.
Beyond its statutory business, the gathering will also serve as a platform for conversations around innovation, media effectiveness, audience measurement, technological disruption and the evolving role of media practitioners in delivering value to brands and consumers.
Industry stakeholders are expected to exchange insights on how media organisations can remain competitive by embracing new technologies, strengthening strategic partnerships and developing sustainable growth models in a rapidly changing marketplace.
The annual meeting is one of MIPAN’s flagship events, bringing together media independent agencies, advertisers, media owners and other stakeholders to discuss issues shaping Nigeria’s media and marketing communications industry.
This year’s edition is expected to reinforce the association’s commitment to promoting industry collaboration, professional excellence and innovation while positioning practitioners to navigate the next phase of media transformation.
