The Central Bank of Nigeria has announced plans to redesign and reissue N200, N500, and N1000 notes.
This was made known by the CBN Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele during a press briefing in Abuja.
According to him, the new notes will be in circulation from the 15th of December 2022 while the old naira notes will still be in use side by side with the new notes for some time.
