Motunrayo Ojuolape Joins Stafford Irish Spirit Nigeria As Executive Director, Commercial Operations

Commercial and marketing leader, Motunrayo Ojuolape, has joined Stafford Irish Spirits in Nigeria, under Jambitt Limited, as Executive Director of Commercial Operations.
In her new role, Motunrayo will be expected to lead the transformation of the commercial function of the company, build scale, drive performance, and shape a high-performing, sustainable culture of excellence, as well as establish a scalable, market-winning commercial engine.
With strong foundation in FMCG and premium spirits, she has built a reputation for translating brand strategy into impactful marketing and disciplined commercial execution. Her expertise lies in crafting high-performing go-to-market strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering measurable business results.
Known for her energy, creativity, and strategic clarity, she brings a unique ability to blend structure with storytelling, making her a natural curator of immersive brand experiences that connect deeply with consumers.
A dynamic commercial and marketing leader with over 18 years of experience driving transformational growth across some of the world’s most respected brands, Motunrayo’s extensive career spans portfolios within The Edrington Group, The Coca-Cola Company, Diageo, Brian Munro Limited, Royal Bank of Canada, and British American Tobacco.
Prior to her recent appointment, she served as National Head of Channel, Modern Trade & E-commerce at Diageo, where she led strategic initiatives to strengthen channel performance and accelerate digital commerce growth.
Motunrayo’s experience also includes her role as Category & Channel Marketing Manager for Chivita|Hollandia at CHI Limited. During her time at Coca-Cola HBC, she held several key positions, including Equity Growth Project Manager, Senior Brand Ambassador, and Trade Marketing lead for the Edrington portfolio, where she played a critical role in brand building and market expansion.
Earlier in her career, she worked with Brian Munro Limited as Brand Manager for Wines and Champagne. She began her professional journey in media as a broadcaster and presenter on the Standup9ja Comedy Show at Afrotainment, before transitioning into brand marketing as a Brand Influencer for Dunhill Ultra-Premium Brands at British American Tobacco. She also gained experience in client services and business development at Centre Spread.
Motunrayo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Olabisi Onabanjo University and a Postgraduate degree in Interactive Media Strategy from Seneca Polytechnic. She has also completed a Marketing Management program with The Chartered Institute of Marketing.
