Elohor Olumide-Awe Elevated To Head Of Category (Non-Alcoholics), Nigerian Breweries

Marketing Expert, Elohor Olumide-Awe has been promoted to the position of Head of Category (Non-Alcoholics) at The Heineken Company – Nigerian Breweries.
Prior to her appointment, she was the Marketing Manager, Maltina, for two years where she led the brand strategy development, and innovation and delivered brand growth initiatives.
Taking to her LinkedIn page to make the announcement, Olumide-Awe wrote, “I’m delighted to share that I got a promotion to Head of Category (Non-Alcoholics) at The HEINEKEN Company – Nigerian Breweries.
“I have had the opportunity to work with some truly amazing people since joining this company and I am grateful for everyone who has been a part of my growth.
“I look forward to this new chapter in my career at Heineken.”
In her new position, she will lead the growth strategy for a portfolio of over six brands within the company.
Olumide-Awe has an all-round marketing knowledge with 12+ years of experience in Brand Campaign Development, Consumer & Market Insights, New Product Development, Profit and Loss (P&L) Management, Project Management, Integrated Brand Communication, Digital & Data-Driven Market, etc.
Before joining the Nigerian Breweries, Olumide-Awe worked at Unilever for eight years. She rose from Assistant Category Manager, Tea, in 2015 to Senior Brand Manager, Savoury before leaving in 2020.
Olumide-Awe has a Bachelor’s Degree in Estate Management from the University of Lagos, UNILAG, in 2008.
She proceeded to Aston Buisness School, Birmingham, United Kingdom, for a Master’s Degree in Strategy & International Business between the years 2010 – 2011.
The marketing expert also did an MBA in Product Strategy from the Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management, Illinois, United States.
