Colette Amaeshi Appointed As New Managing Director For Pulse Ghana

Experienced Marketing & Communications Executive, Colette Amaeshi has been appointed as the Managing Director for Pulse Ghana.

Pulse Ghana is a leading innovative and media company in Ghana as Pulse is resident in six countries.

Colette’s appointment was announced in a post across the social media pages of Pulse Africa on Monday. The appointment comes amid the changes in leadership at Pulse Ghana and Pulse Nigeria.

“We’re thrilled to share some changes in leadership in Ghana and Nigeria. Starting today, Colette Amaeshi joins Pulse Ghana as its Managing Director. Collette is a seasoned professional with experience in Marketing and Communications.

“Pulse Ghana’s former Managing Director, Katharina Link now occupies the role of Co-CEO at Pulse and CEO, Pulse Media. And Fiona Weeks, former Managing Director, Pulse Nigeria, will now take on the role of Managing Director, West Africa, Pulse.”

Also, reacting to the announcement, Colette took to her LinkedIn page to write, “It is an absolute delight to be part of the Pulse team. Super elated to work with every member of the Pulse Ghana team as we tell the enthralling Pulse brand story together. Congratulations on your promotions Katharina Link and Fiona Weeks looking forward to rewarding collaborations. P.S – my favourite colour is now RED.”

Prior to joining Pulse Ghana, Colette was the Head, Strategy, Brand Communications & Marketing at ULTIMUS Holdings, a Pan-African Investment Company with the Sole Purpose of Contributing to the Sustainable Development of African Economies.

She had worked at Miniso Nigeria as the Marketing Communications & Business Development Manager, where she was responsible for telling the brand story and also negotiated and concluded all leasing processes that led to the acquisition of the first 20 stores for MINISO in the Nigerian retail market in just 5 months with competing rental terms.

Colette had her first degree in Political Science from the University of Ibadan. She then proceeded to the National Open University of Nigeria for a Postgraduate Diploma in Mass Communications. She is an alumnus of Nexford University, Washington DC.
