YouTube Rolls Out Podcast Tab

Video streaming platform, YouTube has announced that it has added a “Podcasts” tab to its Channel pages.
The tab appears between “Live” and “Playlists,” and now available globally. The addition of the new tab will make it easier for the users to access podcast content created by content curators.
9to5Google reports that the new tab shows playlists “that have been marked as podcasts by YouTube Creators,” it adds.
Previously, users had to manually search for the podcasts they wanted to hear.
“YouTube Music integration will allow users to listen to their favorite podcasts, though only if their creators marked them as such on their channels,” Android Police notes.
Google is also working on a similar feature for YouTube Music. Presently, in the testing phase Google is working on introducing a dedicated Podcasts tab in YouTube Music.
After the roll out of the feature the YouTube Music users will display appropriate podcasts in the app. The feature is presently in the testing phase and is available only for a small group of people.
