X3M Ideas Concludes Tech Training For Students, Rewards Outstanding Learners With Laptops, Wi-Fi
X3M Ideas, one of Africa’s creative powerhouses, through its subsidiary, X3M Tech, has rewarded outstanding students of Muritala Ajadi Community Grammar School with laptops and free wi-fi equipped with software and programs designed to facilitate continuous learning and skill development.
The initiative and training packaged by X3M Ideas, was designed to equip the next generation of Nigerians with cutting-edge technological skills that focused on critical areas such as effective writing, web development, and product design among others.
X3M Ideas has always believed in developing the potential of the youth, and deepening the critical role they play in driving the future. For the past 12 years, they company has partnered with the Lagos State Government in the pursuit of quality education. Through this partnership, they have renovated schools, and ensured that students across the state have access to conducive learning environments.
At today’s graduation and prize- giving ceremony held at Muritala Ajadi Grammar School, Suru-Lere, Lagos, the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, was represented by the Honorable Commissioner of Basic Education, Mr. Jamiu Tolani Alli-Balogun. In his speech, Gov Sanwo-Olu said that the future is digitalized and we can’t run away from it.
According to him, “It is a privilege for the organizers to deem it fit to develop and nurture in our students the 24th-century skills that have to do with empowering the next generation with tech skills.
“The reality is the future now is digitalized, for us, for our students, and for our teachers to compete favorably in the global world now we need such skills and it is the new future. It is about stimulating the interest of our students in embracing such skills not only for our benefit but for the benefit of the whole society.
“It will prepare their mind for self-employment and also to be an employer of Labour, and it is key to note that this”.
Still in his remarks, the Governor appreciated the donors for their well-articulated content and intention towards developing education, welfare and governance in Lagos State.
He added, “The new national curriculum has been reviewed to incorporate such skill learning, vocational acquisition, artificial intelligence, coding, and others that are more or less relevant.”
While delivering his welcome address, the Group Chief Executive Officer, X3M Ideas said “It is with great pride and joy that I stand before you today at this grand finale of our technical training program. Today is more than just a celebration of new skills; it’s a moment where we witness the power of collaboration in shaping a brighter future for our young generation. Please a round of applause to Instinct Hub, our technical partner on this project.
“Today’s event is particularly special because, for the first time, we are bringing our commitment to empowering the youth right here to Surulere. This is more than just a milestone; it is a testament to our belief that every community has hidden gems waiting to shine. And we see those gems in the brilliant minds of the students seated here today.
“We must also take a moment to appreciate His Excellency, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for his visionary leadership and future-forward education policy. Under his administration, the Lagos State Government has continued to prioritize initiatives that equip our youth with the skills they need to thrive in a rapidly changing world. We are honored to align with this vision, and today’s program is a small but significant step towards realizing that shared goal.
“To the Principal, staff, and students of Murtala Ajadi Animashaun Community Senior Grammar School, congratulations! Your dedication, resilience, and commitment have brought us to this day. This training has opened doors to the world of technology, a world where possibilities are endless. The skills you’ve acquired are not just tools for today but keys to unlocking the future.
“Remember, the knowledge you have gained is not just for you; it is for your communities, your families, and for the Lagos State that we all call home. You are the future leaders, innovators, and problem solvers of this great state, and we are confident that you will rise to the occasion.
“As we wrap up this program, I encourage each of you to continue learning, stay curious, and never be afraid to dream big. The world is waiting for your contributions.
“In closing, I want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who made this program a success—our dedicated team at X3M Ideas, the Lagos State Government, the school administration, and every individual who played a role, no matter how small.
“Together, we are building a brighter, smarter, and more innovative future for our youth.” He concluded.
Expressing profound gratitude for the initiative, the Principal of Muritala Ajadi Community Grammar School, Mr. Micheal Ladejebi said “I want to appreciate X3M Ideas for the wonderful work they have done, and I give glory to God that our school is the first beneficiary of this great work in the whole of Surulere
“I want to give my words today that what X3M Ideas have done will have a multiplier effect in the life of this student, we will ensure that what they are taught is passed on to other students. Aside from the certification given to them, this will be an additional opportunity for them in the future.”
President of the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN), Lanre Adisa also expressed gratitude to the chief host of the initiative.
According to him, it is not about embracing a project but about consistency which is what X3M Ideas is known for. This is not the first or second project they have worked on as a group or individually.
“Congrats to Muritala Ajadi Community Senior Grammar School for being a beneficiary of this wonderful project. The certificate is not about the goodies but about what was invested in you. On behalf of AAAN, I congratulate you all.” He added.
Antia Victoria, one of the 10 best-performing student in the tech training expressed her gratitude to X3M Ideas for the training. She also hope that the opportunity can be extended to other student of the school.
Attat Emmanuel, who is also one of the 10 best-performing student expressed great excitement. “I am happy that all my effort was not in vain and I am among the top 10. I promise to pass the knowledged learnt from this initiative to other students.”
