Pisi Mobile Rejigs Identity, Expands Offerings, Restates Commitment To Building African Businesses

Pisi, a leading technology solution provider for businesses has unveiled a new brand identity from Pisi Mobile to Pisi to reflect its expanded offerings to help business growth in Africa.
The event held at the prestigious Radisson Blu Hotel, GRA Ikeja, Lagos over the weekend, was organised to showcase the brand’s refreshed brand identity, vision, and innovative solutions, as well as reaffirm its commitment to empowering business growth in Africa.
While speaking at the unveiling, Gabriel Ferrer Flegeau, the Chief Operating Officer for Pisi Mobile explained that the new identity was not just about rebranding, but a declaration of intent. “Our transition from Pisi Mobile to simply Pisi reflects our broader vision—a vision of being more than a service provider. Pisi is now an ecosystem for innovation where technology empowers African businesses to do more. This identity symbolises the union of innovation and simplicity, ensuring that businesses don’t just compete but thrive.”
Giving details on the company’s journey, Flegeau said it started with one clear mission to simplify connectivity and technology for African businesses. “Starting Pisi for us wasn’t just about providing services, it was about solving real problems. We began as a Value-Added Services aggregator, partnering with Mobile Network Operators and service providers to create seamless solutions. But we didn’t stop there. As businesses across telecoms, FMCG, fintech, Gaming, HMOs and other sectors evolved, so did we.
“We expanded into messaging solutions, advertising technology, telecom reseller products, and beyond. Each step forward was driven by the belief that businesses deserve more efficiency, more reach, and more opportunities to succeed,” Flegeau further revealed.
According to him, with the new identity that is based on an expanded vision, Pisi is here to meet the challenges of today and prepare businesses for the opportunities of tomorrow. “Our refreshed identity is more than just a design; it’s a promise. The modern, dynamic logo reflects everything we stand for innovation, simplicity, and empowerment. It is a bold new face for a bold new chapter. As we step into this new era, our promise remains steadfast: We are your partner in growth, your ally in innovation, and your collaborator in creating a brighter future for African business.”
On his part, Bukayo Ewuoso, the Head, Business and Advertising at AdTech, Pisi Mobile said the company was inspired to rebrand because it wanted to serve its customers and partners better and evolve with them as they grow and expand their businesses.
His words, “Today was a rebrand unveiling and it doesn’t stop at the identity change, it is an evolution for us as a business. We have moved from Pisi Mobile to Pisi, and what that means is that we now have an ecosystem that offers different solutions to our partners/businesses.
Speaking on how the expansion was going to help businesses in Africa, Bukayo said, “One of our new directions as a brand is that we see ourselves as a partner to these businesses, we want to empower African businesses to grow. We want to simplify growth for them, we want to keep innovating for their needs as they are evolving, and we want to keep evolving our technological solutions to grow their businesses. Our end game is to grow African companies and empower them with the technological solutions that they require.
Explaining further, Bukayo noted that the company partners with companies to help them achieve their business goals from different angles, he said, “Pisi has infrastructures that ensure that customers of telecommunications services like MTN, Airtel get access to services that content providers like healthcare, gaming and lottery companies have. We help these content providers who do not know how to reach their target audience connect and talk with them, so we provide these values and more.”
Adding that the business was not limited to the Nigerian alone, he added, “We are not only partnering with Nigerian businesses but the whole of Africa. For example, with PisiAds, we have done campaigns for businesses in Mozambique, we have a campaign we are launching in Ghana this month, and we are also doing a campaign in South Africa, our tagline is that we partner with African businesses.
The event featured an interactive panel session themed ‘Leveraging Technology for New Revenue and Customer Engagement’. Moderated by Ewuoso, the session had industry experts including Joshua Esiebo, Manager, Partnership & Platforms, MTN Nigeria and Anthony Oteikwu, CEO, YellowDot Africa. The session dissected issues such as opportunities, and challenges facing businesses in Africa and how they can turn the challenges into opportunities using technology.
