FMN, Molped, Interswitch, Three Crowns, Others, Throw Weight Behind WIMCA 2026

Many of Nigeria’s leading corporate brands have thrown their weight behind the 2026 edition of the Women in Marketing Communications Awards (WIMCA).
The 12th edition of WIMCA holds on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the Landmark Event Centre, Lagos, with the theme “Grow, Give, Glow: Professional Resilience for Distinction.”
Backing this year’s conference is a coalition of brands and organisations spanning food and agro-allied manufacturing, personal and feminine hygiene, fintech and payments, dairy and FMCG, banking, household and industrial products, telecommunications infrastructure, and beauty and personal care. They include: Flour Mills of Nigeria (FMN), one of Nigeria’s foremost integrated food and agro-allied companies; Molped, the feminine hygiene brand of Hayat Kimya, the Turkish consumer goods multinational also known in Nigeria for its Molfix diaper brand; Interswitch, Nigeria’s pioneering integrated digital payments and fintech company; and Three Crowns, the milk brand from the stable of FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria Plc, a subsidiary of the Netherlands-based Royal FrieslandCampina.
Others include Union Bank of Nigeria, now under the TGI Group (Tropical General Investments), following its merger with TGI-owned Titan Trust Bank, PZ Cussons, the Nigerian arm of British consumer goods group PZ Cussons Plc, Coca-Cola, the global beverage company whose Nigerian operations are anchored by its bottling partners, IHS Tower, the telecommunications infrastructure arm of IHS Holding Limited, one of the world’s largest independent tower companies and Power Oil, the cooking oil brand marketed by Multipro Consumer Products, part of the Tolaram Group, the conglomerate behind Dufil Prima Foods and its Indomie noodles brand.
Also in the list are Maggi, the seasoning and culinary brand of Nestlé Nigeria, Stanbic IBTC, a member of Standard Bank Group of South Africa, Africa’s largest bank by assets, AACE Foods, a Nigerian agro-processing company known for its spices, seasonings and nutrition-focused food products, CWAY, the Nigerian arm of the Chinese multinational CWAY Group, known for bottled water and beverages and Rubellite Cosmetics, a Nigerian beauty and personal care brand.
Commenting on this year’s theme, Joshua Ajayi, Convener of WIMCA, said it was deliberately developed to reflect the realities of the modern professional journey and the changing nature of careers. “The theme is predicated on the fact that lasting professional success is rarely a straight line; it is built through seasons of reinvention, quiet resilience, and the willingness to begin again in pursuit of a bigger purpose,” he said.
According to him, the conference will explore how professionals can turn the challenges and changes encountered throughout their careers into opportunities for greater impact and distinction.
WIMCA 2026 will bring together a strong lineup of speakers drawn from marketing, communications, banking, consumer goods, entrepreneurship and professional development. Confirmed speakers include Funmi Osineye of Nestlé Nigeria, Tolulope Medebem of Aster Integrated Marketing, Gloria Nwabuike of AACE Foods, Dr Nkiru Olumide-Ojo of Standard Bank Group, Dr Bolajoko Bayo-Ajayi, President of NIMN, Bodam Taiwo of Diageo, Martha Kayode of PZ Cussons, Solape Akinpelu of HerVest, Kenneth Iruonagbe of TGI, Chidera Ibekwe of Procter & Gamble, and Dr. Omotola Bamigbaiye-Elatuyi of the Society for Corporate Governance, among others.
The event will feature a full-day programme comprising a conference, exhibition, gala dinner and awards ceremony, culminating in the evening with the recognition of exceptional women and organisations that have made significant contributions to the marketing communications and business ecosystem.
Now in its 12th year, WIMCA has evolved into one of the industry’s most influential platforms dedicated to the professional growth, recognition and empowerment of women in marketing communications.
