The Coca-Cola Company and Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) GB have been named the Official Soft Drinks Partner of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games. This marks a major brand activation and sponsorship milestone ahead of the multi-sport event in Scotland. Under the partnership, Coca‑Cola Zero Sugar will serve as the Official Soft Drink, Powerade; the Official Sports Drink, and Smartwater; the Official Water across the Games’ venues, aligning the brand with performance, hydration, and fan experience.

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP), the world’s largest independent Coca-Cola bottler, will supply products to all four main event sites, reinforcing its role as a key sponsor of large scale sporting events in the UK. The deal also ties Coca-Cola to Team Scotland, allowing the brand to integrate its name into Team Scotland campaigns, media content, and fan engagement initiatives. Branding and advertising will feature prominently on-site, in digital activation, and across social media channels, blending sports sponsorship with sports marketing, event based branding, and sponsorship-led storytelling.

Sustainability is a core plank of the collaboration: CCEP is partnering with environmental charity “Keep Scotland Beautiful” to support river bank clean-up projects near the Clyde side venues, positioning Coca-Cola as a responsible sports sponsor in line with Glasgow 2026’s “greener Games” ambitions.

For Coca-Cola, the Glasgow 2026 partnership represents a high visibility, sports marketing opportunity, reinforcing its status as a global beverage brand at major international events and strengthening its brand presence in the UK and Commonwealth markets.
