Nestlé Nigeria Plc has named Toritseju (Toju) Egbebi as its new Corporate Communications and Sustainability Manager, effective November 1, 2026, marking a leadership transition in the company’s communications function.

Egbebi succeeds Victoria Uwadoka, who is retiring after a decade with the food and beverage company. She moves into the role from her current position as Corporate Affairs Manager, bringing 18 years of experience in public relations and corporate communications across the technology, financial services and consumer goods industries.

Her appointment comes as businesses increasingly rely on strategic communications to manage stakeholder relationships, strengthen corporate reputation and communicate their sustainability commitments.

At Nestlé Nigeria, Egbebi has contributed to corporate reputation management, public affairs and stakeholder engagement. She has also supported the company’s Nestlé for Good platform, which communicates its initiatives in nutrition, community development and environmental sustainability.

Uwadoka’s departure marks the end of a 10-year tenure during which she helped advance Nestlé Nigeria’s communications and Creating Shared Value agenda. Her work covered several areas, including nutrition, youth empowerment, agriculture, water stewardship and environmental responsibility.

Beyond her corporate responsibilities, Uwadoka has contributed to Nigeria’s communications industry through professional advocacy, industry leadership and mentorship, promoting the role of strategic communications in business growth and societal development.

Commenting on the transition, Wassim Elhusseini, Managing Director and CEO of Nestlé Nigeria, acknowledged Uwadoka’s contributions to the company and the wider communications profession.

He also expressed confidence in Egbebi’s ability to lead the function, emphasising the importance of effective communication and stakeholder engagement in building trust and demonstrating the company’s impact in Nigeria.

Nestlé Nigeria operates across the food and beverage sector, with brands including MILO, MAGGI, GOLDEN MORN, NESCAFÉ and NESTLÉ PURELIFE.
